National Park Teluk Cendrawasih  is the largest marine national park in Indonesia where it is located in Papua. It was inaugurated in 1993, the park consists of land, coastal beaches, islands and coral reef has an area of ​​1.4335 million ha. Inside there are a variety of flora and fauna are protected.

National Park Teluk Cendrawasih is a haven for plants and animals. There are 36 species of birds, 196 species of molluscs, 209 species of fish and some turtles are protected like the hawksbill turtle, green turtle, leatherback and hawksbill false. In the territorial waters is also a good place for whales and dolphins.
